PEI又稱(chēng)為線(xiàn)性化聚乙烯亞胺，是人工合成的含有高密度正電荷的有機(jī)大分子陽(yáng)離子聚合物。PEI與DNA通過(guò)正負(fù)電荷的相互吸引形成復(fù)合物，這些復(fù)合物很容易通過(guò)內(nèi)吞作用進(jìn)入細(xì)胞。PEI-DNA復(fù)合物能很好地抵御溶酶體的降解作用，有效提高轉(zhuǎn)染效率。PEI可作用于大至135000個(gè)核苷酸的質(zhì)粒，所以較大的質(zhì)粒也可以成功轉(zhuǎn)染。目前市面上PEI轉(zhuǎn)染試劑有很多種，Polysciences的PEI線(xiàn)性轉(zhuǎn)染試劑適用于多種真核細(xì)胞，用途廣泛。

外觀：白色至黃色粉末

熔點(diǎn)：73-75℃

溶解性：溶于：熱水、低pH值的冷水、甲醇和乙醇；

不溶于：苯、YI醚和丙酮。
